This panoramic sunset photo was taken at Blue Ridge Lake that I modified slightly to increase the saturation of colors. The lake has been pulled down to winter levels and a lot of the docks are on the ground or hanging half in and half out of the water. The TVA always pulls the lake down to winter levels for flood control, but they were doing work on the dam and had the lake pulled to unusually low levels. It was a Lake Sunset with the fog starting to come off of the lake with a warm yellow/orange glow in the sky reflecting into the lake. This mountain lake sunset would be a great addition to any collection. I have a sunrise of this same photo available at http://www.mwatersphotography.com that is just as stunning. This would make a great set of mountain sunsets or Lake sunsets for room in your home.
