Description
This panoramic sunrise photo was taken at Blue Ridge Lake. The yellow glow of the morning sunrise really contrasted the fog rising from the lake. The lake has been pulled down to winter levels and a lot of the docks are on the ground or hanging half in and half out of the water. The TVA always pulls the lake down to winter levels for flood control, but they were doing work on the dam and had the lake pulled to unusually low levels. It was a Lake Sunrise with the fog starting to come off of the lake with a warm yellow glow in the sky reflecting into the lake. This mountain lake sunrise would be a great addition to any collection. I have a sunset of this same photo available at http://www.mwatersphotography.com that is just as stunning. This would make a great set of mountain sunrises or Lake sunrises for any room in your home.
