Artist's Description
This sunrise was taken in Ballground Georgia on January 20, 2013. Ballground is a small city in North Georgia approximately 1 hour north of Atlanta Georgia on Hwy 515. My wife and I was up early, as usual, and decided to do a photo session on the very cold morning. The temp was around 25 degrees. This was taken off Howell Bridge road located off interstate 515. As the sun was approching the horizon, the deep colors were fading into a light yellow, orange, and red tone over the sky. The blue sky was starting to show more as the day break rapidly approached. The clouds had changed from the very dark blue, almost black color into a beautiful yellow tone. The color tones mixed beautifully to bring out a wonderful sunrise as well as a multitude of colors as the light refracted off the horizon and clouds.

I live in Jasper, Georgia just outside of Atlanta. I am married and have 4 children, and 2 grandchildren. I have been in the Medical Field as a Paramedic for 25+ years. I have my Masters of Business Administration with a minor in Business Management. I have always enjoyed photography, and used it as a stress relief for years.
